1 fresh pomegranate

1 cup of water

1 cup of brown sugar
1 tsp. of butter
Directions
- Slice and soak fresh pomegranate in a glass bowl. Gently remove pomegranate seeds and strain water.
- Liquefy pomegranate seeds in processor with water.
- Strain mixture
- Add butter and brown sugar to a sauce pan on low heat. When butter is completely melted and brown sugar begins to bubble add pomegranate mixture to the pan.
- Let this mixture bubble for 5-10 minutes as you continue to mix on low heat.
- Turn heat off and allow your syrup to cool for 1-2 minutes before serving.
