Ingredients
Protein
3-5 boneless chicken tenders or 2-3 chicken breast sliced into threes
2 eggs
Produce
1 head of romaine lettuce
2 lemons (1 to grill and 1 for the juice)
1 cucumber
Condiments
1 cup of honey
1 cup of buttermilk
1 stick of butter
Baking & Spices
3 tbsp. of Mrs. Dash Lemon pepper seasoning
1 tbsp. of garlic, paprika, black pepper and onion powder
2 cups of flour seasoned with double of the dry seasoning above
Oils & Vinegars
½ cup of olive oil
Directions
- Combine dry seasoning and 2 tbsp. of Mrs. Dash to cleaned and dried chicken.
- To the same bowl add buttermilk, and a scrambled egg. Mix together and dip each tender into a Ziploc bag with the flour and dried spices.
- Remove each tender and add to hot oil (350 degrees). Fry for 3-5 minutes.
- Spray romaine lettuce and grill for 2-3 minutes on one side. Grill sliced lemons on both sides for the same amount of time.
